The HS wings are performance wings. Stable, responsive and with great glide make them the choice for carving turns or shredding waves. 

Developed form the ultra-successful carving freeride range, the HS wings are the logical step for progressive riders wanting to take their riding to the next level.

CONSTRUCTION

• Construction is based around a high-density foam core, which is wrapped with 100% IM and High Modulus Carbon. 
• The main wings are shaped and refined for maximum stability and predictability at all speeds
• The foil sections have been carefully designed by one of the world’s foremost sport wing designers.

HS625 FRONT WING:

The HS 625 foil kit is fast and ultra smooth! It’s our smallest front wing in the range combined with the HS232 tail wing.

It has amazing speed and stability so you can carve with confidence at high speeds. If you are pushing your limits in the waves this is what you need for towing into bigger waves and swells. For Kite foiling it’s our highest performer, it’s not a race wing but it’s super fast, smooth with great response and overall performance.

The HS625 Wing is a perfect choice for:

HS850 FRONT WING:

That wing we have been waiting for! The arrival of the HS850 fills the gap between the HS625 and 1050 and will have you cranking and banking turns like a pro. 

Speed is everything with control, the new HS850 delivers both! Sleek and sexy lines let you know that this wing is sporty and refined at the same time. This relatively small wing has a huge range, it handles high speeds easily and has enough glide and lift to pump.  

This is a sick wing for solid surf, Kiting and wing foiling… The combination of its performance attributes give it range and that range makes it versatile. Developed with Kiwi powerhouse Bevan Gooch who is known for ripping in big surf, he reckons the only limitation of this wing is how far the rider dare push it!

Sweet handling and pitch control are signature features of that unique Armstrong feeling, the HS850 is another sublime addition to the HS range of wings.

Perfectly suited for Wing Foiling as it has amazing range, taking experienced riders from sub 10 knot riding, all the way to 18 knots!

MASTS

V2 MASTS

Our V2 fully tapered one piece masts are ultra solid at the top and slick through the water down below.

The unique Quad C Beam Core layup delivers a mast with smooth consistent reactive flex, generating sweet handling response and better stability by smoothing out bumps and flexing precisely to drive you through turns.

The V2 masts also feature bombproof zero corrosion Bi Directional Titanium Washer and Titanium T Nut system, which creates a rock solid connection between mast and board.

The V2 mast construction and shape combine to make a mast that will deliver predictably every time.

LENGTH OPTIONS:

• 450mm - Awesome for shallow water and easy learning all foil sport.
• 600mm - Shallow water and reef foiling where hitting the bottom might be an issue. Also a good choice for easy learning all foil sports.
• 720mm - The go to Foil Surf mast. An easy all rounder for all foil sports
• 850mm - The 'do everything mast' : Intermediate/Advanced. SUP, Downwind, Kite, Wake, and Tow in Surfing
• 100mm - This is the choice for experienced Kite, Tow in Surfing and big wave charging

PERFORMANCE V3 MASTS:

The Performance Mast range is a clean-sheet design that takes the Armstrong feeling riders know and love to new heights. 

Sophisticated engineering and top shelf materials give this mast a unique combination of efficiency, stiffness and control at speed.

Collaborating with a team of America’s Cup foil engineers, we set out to develop a high performance mast to take us into the future. Our design goal called for a unique blend of strength, stiffness, drag and light weight. Combining CFD analysis with expert insight allowed us to tune each section of the mast from baseplate to fuselage connection for maximum efficiency.

The result is a top of the line mast consisting of top shelf materials, new mast section, refined baseplate, reduced drag fuselage connection and new construction method. Proprietary titanium M7 mast top hardware follows suit with a strong, light and drag reducing connection to the board.

Simply put, the Performance Mast range takes the sublime Armstrong feeling further than ever.

LENGTH OPTIONS:

• 655mm - Exceptional performance for flatwater pump, shallow water riding and young rippers.
• 725mm - Highly manoeuverable for prone surf, pump, SUP surf, wake, downwind and wing.

MAST LENGTH GUIDE

There is no golden rule to chose your mast length. It is key to understand that the longer the mast length the more difficult it is to maintain stability, and the more extreme your wipeouts will be. It is our recommendation that whatever your sport, you start on a short or medium mast length i.e. 72cm or less.

In surfing, longer mast lengths are designed to allow extra pumping room and allow more maneuverability through turns. Whereas for kiting, a longer mast length will allow a greater upwind angle without forcing the wing out of the water. It will also allow the kiter to maintain a steady heading through larger ocean chop / waves.

FUSELAGE

The Armstrong Hex Fuselage is a ground breaking work of art in terms of engineering and design. The fuselage has a solid titanium core running throughout its length.

The core is then shrouded in 5mm solid wall carbon tube. The multi wing hex fitting for the mast and front wing gives 360 degree surface contact, maximizing the load distributing area.

The new TC A+System Fuselage connection is taking compatibility, strength and durability into the future.

The shorter the fuselage the less stable the foil becomes and turns become faster and tighter. The fuselage options are:

• TC50 - The TC50 allows huge maneuverability and is suited to surf rippers and advanced Kiters.
• TC60 (standard provided) - The TC60 is the perfect blend of maneuverability and stability, ideal for intermediate riders and up!
• TC70 - The TC70 is our most popular fuselage for rookies and intermediate riders because it is smooth and forgiving.

TAIL WING

The following rear wings are all recommended with the HS front wings:

• SURF 205  - The Surf 205 is a highly manoeuvrable stabiliser that enables tight and critical turns in the pocket.
• FLOW 235 - The Flow 235’s name says it all! It’s smooth and predictable, inspiring your confidence and flow. 
• DART 140  - Lightning fast response with minimal drag for high speeds, this is the tail of choice for advanced to expert wing, surf, tow and kite foilers in powered conditions.
• SPEED 180 - The 180 Speed offers greater efficiency and top end of intermediate through advanced wing, surf and downwind foilers

HS232 V2 TAIL WING:

Developed in conjunction with the HS front wings the HS232 reduced drag and area improves acceleration, speed and maneuverability.

The layup has been re-engineered so the ultra frothers out there are free to Chop Shop the tips down to a HS 212cm2 - without structural issues. The HS 232 is compatible with the entire CF wing range, it’s the next level performance upgrade.

• The tail wing has a foam core wrapped in the highest quality Carbon keeping it light and super rigid.
